VOYSYS VR PRODUCER. 4K60 fps, multi-camera live VR/360° production software
Voysys VR Producer allows you to use a single computer to realize full-blown multi-camera live VR production. Stitch 360° video, switch between several 360° camera positions, and render additional graphics and virtual screens on top – all on one machine.
The Voysys real-time, depth-based stitching function enables you to quickly switch to new camera positions, and allows real time fine-tune stitching during broadcasts. Using Voysys VR Producer’s real time GUI, you can change camera position and adjust other objects in a preview window prior to making changes live using a smooth transition effect. Virtual screens can be left intact during transitions.
Voysys VR Producer is delivered as a software installation file, and you are free to design and procure your own computer hardware.

A. Cameras and inputs
Using a calibration board or computer screen with. a calibration pattern, you will quickly integrate your newly constructed camera or newly bought one-lens camera with the system. Given your rig is solid and robust, you only need to perform the calibration once.
Use any input format supported by the capture card. 3G SDI, 6G SDI, 12G SDI, HDMI etc. You may also ingest IP video streams.
Stitched 360 video
If you have cameras with built-in stitching, or if you are using external stitchers, you may define any video input as 360 video. Currently, Voysys VR Producer supports the equirectangular projection.
Voysys VR Producer has well-tested support for most Decklink capture cards including the Quad 2 card allowing capture of 8 2K/60 fps streams on one single card!
Capture cards with DirectShow compatible drivers should work with Voysys VR Producer. This includes USB, USB 3, PCI, PCI Express and Thunderbolt capture cards like Magewell, AJA, Inogeni and others.
A smooth and resource-effective depth-based automatic stitching that gives a good starting point for stitching in a few seconds.
A fast, high-resolution depth-based automatic stitching function with the power to auto stitch every single frame of the 360 video stream. It usually gives a good-enough stitch in an instant.
Quickly click on regions of the screen where stitching needs to be improved. Then quickly adjust stitching distance for the adjustment zone until you are satisfied. Note that also objects close to the camera may be adjusted for.
Pan and zoom
Use your mouse to quickly pan and zoom for supervising your 360 video and finding areas with poor stitching.
Adjust Horizon of your 360 camera rig using overlay help lines.
You may at any time during your live broadcast adjust stitching using CPU auto, GPU auto or manual adjustment zones. When you’re done, just use any of the smooth transitions to make your adjustments live.
C. Adjusting colors
Auto color correction
Automatically adjusts colors of individual video feeds in a 360 camera rig to create smooth blending between cameras.
Semi-auto color adjustments
Mark areas where colors are homogenous to help the automatic color correction process.
Manually adjust gains for Red, Green and Blue for respective camera.
Manually adjust for vignetting on individual cameras.
Adjust appearance of individual 2D videos or complete 360 videos by assigning LUT files that you create in Photoshop or similar.
D. Adding value
Create 2D planes showing your 2D input videos. If you’re producing a linear broadcast, it should definitely be on one of your virtual screens!
Create 2D planes showing your flat pictures. Voysys VR Producer currently supports the png picture format, including transparency.
Create a 2D plane and load just any HTML5 page on it by entering a URI.
Add 360 photos, or computer generated 360 pictures to your user experience. Voysys VR Producer currently supports pictures using the equirectangular projection.
E. Compositing of VR scenes
Group objects to make the composition of your VR scene easier.
Position groups, virtual screens, pictures and other objects freely in your VR scene.
Rotate groups, virtual screens, pictures and other objects freely in your VR scene.
Scale groups, virtual screens, pictures and other objects freely in your VR scene.
You may at any time during your live broadcast add objects, remove objects or change the scaling, positioning or rotation of objects. When you’re done, just use any of the smooth transitions to make your adjustments live.
Perform any type of adjustments in the preview window without affecting the live stream.
Create several scenes (normally one per camera position), and switch among them in the preview window.
Make the selected scene live using a transition. Cut and Fade (variable length) transitions are currently supported.
Make all objects in one scene visible in other scenes. This functionality is for example useful when you want to make objects stay in same position after transitions between scenes.
Recommended output is 12G SDI to an external encoder capable of encoding 4K@60 fps.

Voysys VR Producer supports live encoding using GPU hardware.
Voysys VR Producer supports RTMP streaming to an external encoder or streamer. This support is however not long-term tested by Voysys, and broadcast quality cannot be guaranteed over time.
